about me

Currently based out of Fayetteville, NC, I'm a designer, developer, and marketer with extensive experience in email marketing.

My first grown-up job after college was working in the undergraduate admissions office at my alma mater. That job has led to a nearly 20 year career in higher ed including working for a small boutique agency working with some of the best clients I could imagine.

While I've loved higher education marketing, I'm open to expanding my skills to other fields as well.

Fun fact about this photo: Chin-in-hand is my thinking/attentive position and I took this photo after a very long week of Zoom calls to show my wife why my thumb joint was aching beyond belief!

outside of work

When I'm not at work, you'll usually find me listening to music (lately I've been renewing my love for The Cure, Slowdive, and Mazzy Star), watching a horror movie or procedural crime show, or reading non-fiction about spirituality, culture or politics.

Also, you can often find me somewhere around the Southeastern US officiating flat-track roller derby. I've been an active non-skating official since 2016. I've worked events all over including the 2019 WFTDA Playoffs in Winston-Salem, NC with teams from Germany, the UK, Canada, Argentina, and all over the US.
